Mr. Barry Lim

Barry brings with him more than 15 years’ experience in advisory - primarily to public sector organizations in Malaysian and across the region. He has also worked with large private sector entities and small businesses having started his career as a technology entrepreneur. Barry's core expertise is in business strategy development, public policy, economic impact assessment, investment and trade as well as programme management. He has also led a number of national level tourism studies including on policy development, MICE and niche tourism. He spent a considerable part of his career in a Malaysian government funded industry development agency driving technology and innovation. Barry was part of and led numerous multilateral trade and promotion engagements across technology markets of the US, India and ASEAN. Barry has spoken at numerous industry and government forums on topics relating to mega trends, industry development, investment promotion and international trade issues.
